Harnessing contemporary style and being a surfer are not mutually exclusive. Which is a thread that runs through the brand identity and all of our products to date. And one that is, perhaps, most applicable to our 'Navigator' blazer.

Not to mention the importance of embedding sustainability and protecting our planet into the DNA of the brand, supply chain and manufacturing process.
We have lots of plans to move the dial in what is an increasingly crowded market where, in our opinion, only those brands with authenticity surrounding their purpose and identity will survive and thrive.
The S/P 'Navigator' blazer has been a product that we've sampled on a number of occasions since our inception. It's just the cost of production that has stopped us from making it happen ... but where there's a will there's a way.
]]>Find out about the key event which kicked his ass into action and how he aims to breathe a fresh perspective into the surf scene.
"Most brands focus on selling the dream, but they forget that not all of us can actually live it on a permanent basis. For 90% of the time most of us are living normal lives, navigating urban environments and holding down a busy work or family life. I believe strongly that we shouldn’t be trying to escape our everyday lives and only living toward those moments where we can get amongst the great outdoors. We should be embracing both worlds simultaneously. City and sea can co-exist in a positive, balanced way. It doesn’t have to be one or the other."
The interview is here.
]]>Establishing a new brand and bringing something fresh and innovative to market is hard - particularly when funds to invest are limited, the competitive landscape is crowded, and people tell you that you're crazy & it's too difficult to break into.
But we pursued undeterred, believing strongly that our identity is unique and product launch collection is of an elevated quality in terms of stylistic design, functional innovation and versatility of use. Because surfers navigate numerous environments and need a product which can handle them all.
And we did it.

]]>"We don’t often see a brand associated with extreme sports cross over so well in to the street wear scene, and they have certainly done that here. The product quality is dope, from technical fabrics to staple sweaters, they have put out a sound collection."

]]>Canoe are one of the leading PR agents in the UK with an enviable client list including Patagonia, Oakley, Volcom, REEF, Vans and Canada Goose.
The opportunity to work with them, and for them to want to work with us, gives us continued confidence and motivation that we are creating something which is unique in the surf apparel market.

]]>Tim's mission is to unite the outdoor sports world with a view to us leading the charge in educating people around the world on the impact which rubbish, and plastic in particular, is having on this beautiful planet.
It's an area which we have wanted to get involved in for a long time. On our travels over the years when surfing and / or snowboarding, we've seen for ourselves both the quantities of litter and the impact which it is having on our oceans, coastlines and mountain pathways. The contagion onto eco-systems and wildlife is devastating.
So it is a both a privilege and a responsibility to be involved in such an important movement. And we, as a business, will do all that we can to help.
]]>Led by Tim, they are uniting the outdoor sports world to lead the charge in educating people around the world on the impact which rubbish, and plastic in particular, is having on this beautiful planet.
Their focus is on education at all levels, from pre-school kids up to college students and beyond. And, as a collective, they are in a unique position to document the damage being done to our planet, from the remotest beaches to the wildest mountains. Whilst being able to tell the tales which inspire people to want to get out there and do something about it.
They are in the process of formulating a rolling project of blogs / features, a feature film and, most importantly, constructing and imparting educational programmes which are already in over 4,000 primary schools across the UK and will be going into elementary schools in the US and high schools in both the UK and the US, as well as France, Australia and New Zealand.

As the team behind The Plastic Project are bringing to light, what we see is only the tip of the iceberg. We are way behind the curve and the problem has already reached a point of almost no-return which will continue to destruct this beautiful planet and the life which it supports.
So it is both a privilege and a responsibility to be involved in such an important movement. And we, as a business, will do all that we can to help.

]]>Aptly titled 'The Game Changer Issue', Huck is a publication which we have long admired for celebrating people and movements that paddle against the flow.
It is an honour to be represented; whilst it is challenging building something new, it is reassuring to know that there are supporters out there who are with us on our journey.
A huge thank you to everyone at Huck.
